Sierra and Andrew - www.sierraandandrew.com
w/ guest Everett Mckee!
Folk Rock
Thursday May 17, 8PM
Sierra and Andrew hit the Boston scene as a songwriting duo in the fall of 2009, wielding deeply textured acoustic style music tinged with electricity.
Sierra (vocals, keyboard) began creating and performing her own original music at an early age. She studied composition and jazz voice, and has lent her songwriting and vocal artistry to several various musical groups and projects.
Andrew (guitars) got his start on the drums and soon applied his musical prowess to the guitar, which led him to build up his own repertoire of original songs. His influences span a wide range of genres, reflected in his versatile playing and writing.
Together, Sierra and Andrew fuse their uniquely compatible ideas and styles to create a collection of innovative original music. |

Model Citizens - facebook
Rock
Friday May 18, 8PM
Model Citizen's cosmos aligned in 2007 when Paula Pearce (Lead Vox, Guitars) and Matt Doyle (Vox, Guitar) met while trying to form a Johnny Cash and Neil Diamond cover band; Johnny Diamond, naturally. Tommy Walsh (Vox, Djembe) has been creating music with Matt since 2000, and resurfaced to fill out our much needed 3rd member to play drums in our Rock Band. Many other members have come and gone over the years and the band hails from 3 unique areas of the world: Cardiff Wales, Needham MA, and Lowell MA. And they all have their own signature shadow puppet. A terrible/great way to kill 30 minutes in any given band practice. |

Delta & Chicago Style Blues
Saturday May 19, 8PM
Mark’s live performances include many great traditional Delta Blues numbers with a Chicago Blues slant that transforms each tune into a tour de force. Included are the blazing flat-picking techniques that grabbed audiences in Mark’s Bluegrass days; the hot slide guitar playing that creates a mood and timbre change in each set; and the showmanship that he has developed from 25 years of experience as a band front man. These components, combined with the sense of a sharp businessman who possesses a keen understanding of the venue goals and objectives, assures a happy and excited audience regardless of the situation. |

Indie
Thursday May 31, 8PM
Classically trained multi-instrumentalist Peter Linnane has a long history in the Boston music scene - as the leader of the 90's rock band The Madcap Laughs, playing with numerous local and international acts both live and as a session musician, recording and mastering engineer and writing incidental music for documentaries and commercials, he lives, eats and breathes music. Peter’s wife, singer and artist Samantha Linnane, adds harmony to their melody driven arrangements. The Farewells mix acoustic pop, folk, rock and a pinch of electronica to form a beautiful and eclectic union of sound. Their first album “The Shady Tree” (2002), displays a vista of dark twang and sunny pop. Their second effort “Litterbug”, a seven song EP, was released in July of 2011.
